Our activity

The Szczecin Metropolis Development Agency was established by the City of Szczecin in 2002.

We are a municipal company dedicated to fostering a collaborative business environment that bridges local government and businesses.

Every day, we provide companies with access to a range of promotional, financial, outsourcing, and consulting services. A special emphasis is placed on investment related services, catering to local entrepreneurs, external organizations, and foreign investors interested in collaborating and contributing to the region’s economic development.

What exactly do we do?

1. 1. We are developing tools to assist entrepreneurs and investors in accessing external financing sources, including loan guarantees;
   2. We support investors throughout the entire investment process, from land search to recruitment;
   3. We connect local government, businesses, and universities by orchestrating various education, information, and promotion initiatives;
   4. We run several projects aimed at supporting our region and building a strong brand of Szczecin: Invest in Szczecin, Made in Szczecin, Szczecin_offshore 2025, guarantees for entrepreneurs, and the organization of industry events.

Our capital

The Company’s share capital amounts to PLN 64,536,500.00, divided into 129,073 shares with a nominal value of PLN 500.00 each. The capital was fully contributed by the Municipality of Szczecin.
